Ask For A Trick-We Will Treat You With Wax
Tomorrow, when the doorbell rings;
Costumed children, the night will bring!
βTrick or Treatβ, they will loudly yell;
Sometimes βTrickβ, a Grinch will tell!

The younger ones will turn and run;
But the more mature, will have some fun!
They will find some windows, on his house or car;
And with wax candles, their surface mar!
.
I write this from true experience;
How stingy people, we would recompense!
So if you donβt want your house attacked;
Throw lots of candy, in the goblinβs sacks!

Actually, our large bowl of candy bars went untouched last night, as, unbelievably, not one trick or treater showed up at our new residence.Β
Oh well, guess that's "candy" over the dam.

that sad you didn't have any kids last night but its the changing world
parents just don't feel safe any more letting kids go out thay have partys at home or you can go to the mall where it is safe it not like it was when you and IΒ were kids Β
it is so sad that in my town the halloweenies can't trick or treat anymore. there are too many assholes that try and send them to death's door. I use to love to see all the little ones dressed up.

We were looking forward to lots of trick or treaters at our door last night, but now, unlike our townhouse last year, we live in an apartment complex, and our doorbell did not ring once.Β We were so sad.

Great memories for sure.Β Try and screw with us, and we gave you a real "wax job".Β We had learned that soaping windows was kids play, for it could be so easily washed off.Β But wax, that was for us seasoned veterans.
