At The Crossroads
Standing at the crossroads of my my life
Looking around as time ticks by
The hourglass is fading,the sun is setting fast
Being in misery stuck in this demise
No easy resolution, nothing in plain sight
I have lived this previous chapter before no joy or hope on this broken dance floor
There is no remedy for what is ailing me
I cannot see the forest for the trees
Pouring out my heart,loving you seems so right
I love you so much as the tears roll on by
My anxiety is high this is my daily grind
Feeling down alone in my thoughts
Thinking of the everything back and forth ,in between
I wish there was a way to go back in time and erase the hurt from the past
I really want this love to last
