THE ATTIC ROOM

An attic sits above my room
It's dark and eerie, full of gloom
In bed I hear strange noises at night
That keep me awake til morning light

I went up one night to confront my fear
Anticipating... a 'ghost' would appear

Eventually my patience couldn't last
I tried to get out, but the door locked fast

I shouted out, in a desperate plea
In the hope somebody would rescue me
Nobody did, it was then I realized
My skin looked transparent and it seems I can fly

Now i can't sleep, and I never can breathe
The doors locked tight, so I never can leave
I came in a boy, expecting a ghost
So I got what I wanted, I guess, I suppose...

A dark tale with a twist Zane, done really well.  Enjoyed this, and I really liked the line you ended on.  A great job, a big vote from me too:)
