Aurora
Aurora peeks over horizons veil
Vivid tis tones itβll entail
Arise easterly fair maid
Appraise beauty portrayed
Multi-colored satin shawl
Spans daylight crawl
Deity morning ordained
Awoken tis elements obtained
Cloud refract spectacular eyes
Hasten dusks cloaked demise
Songbirds honor thy name
Extolling first blush acclaim
Refreshed tis mountain dew
Coffee chosen morning brew
Partake copious fill
Dismiss twilight chill

I've just been watching a series on TV that featuredΒ the aurora borealis, I guess that Aurora is also the name of the girl in the image to this piece.Β

Aurora is a Roman goddess of dawn...I just happened to come across a small blurb of online reading. I do look for images that appeal to me and when I get an idea I will look it up and write my poem accordingly. It really staves off writer's block. thank you for reading and commenting.
