The road’s almost melting
My hair’s wringing wet
My shirt is stuck to me
I’m dripping in sweat

My eyes are so squinted 
My skin starts to burn
Where is my hat?
I never will learn

It’s Summer in Queensland 
Like Hell when it’s cool
I’m knocking off early
I’m breaking the rules

I’ll pass by the Bottlo
And pick up my pack
Then jump in the pool
