What is Autism, they said thats me because the way that i act and wanting to be free
my mind is different many won’t understand they just say my behaviour is out of hand.

They have meetings after meeting to decide my fate ,while i wait and wonder around at the gate.
Yes i am different but not out of hand its you its you that don’t understand.

Why not watch me and see what makes me tick and don’t try to judge me so flipping quick.
It takes a long long time for me to process things, it takes a long long time for me to get it .

I will walk around as I'm in a world of my own, can see things that you cant, can hear things that you don’t which scrambles my brain with sometimes gives me some terrible pain.

But you can’t fix me you would if you could its so long and drawn out but you really should
Im in here I’m locked in you have to work with me give time and your patients and you will see.

Don’t give up on me, go over again and again and over again i shed the frustrated tears and this could well be for years.

Autism So many different types some of us can talk some of us can’t, Some of us fit in some of us don’t ,Some of us are calm some of us are not, Some fixated some of us not.
All of us have a talent just like you do, we just need the help to bring our talent through.
Autism is big what is it and why is it.

My parents need help to know what to do it is so difficult and i know that is true.
Yes i hear you but my mind won’t let me do, so i have to leave the figuring out all to you.

I need love, i need help, i need trust, i need shelter, i need patients, i need time, i feel sometime afraid, you need to learn my way , i can’t teach you what is my way, i can't tell you what’s my way i can't tell it to you .

Some of us like noise some of us don’t
some of us are sensitive some of us are not
our brain works very well but doctors cant understand they don’t understand
our autism is not understood in this land.

A child with is Autism is an angel child, never a bully never intentional hurt anyone, is happy in their own space and world loves oh loves music ,this maybe a key don’t hurt but understand us
don’t fear but understand us
We are here for you to learn from us, how we live how we use our magnificent brain.

we are lucky we worry about nothing.
You feed us, you cloth us, you bath us, you try to educate us, you take us places you think we like, you study us, you medicate us you do everything for us
so we worry not because its all done for us.

When we grow up we worry not of bills or food or a roof over our head…you do the worrying but still you have not learned from us ,there is so much to learn from us... the one you label with Autism .

One thing we ask is to keep trying to communicate with us help us to communicate with you. over and over and over and over and over it may take years but we WILL get it .
