AUTOPILOT

AUTOPILOT

My life's on autopilot
As I'm living out each day
Reliving it over and over
In some sad, repeated way
One day looks like another
I'm living in a deja vu
In a cycle of reoccurrence
Until each day is through
It's like my life's one big audition
And I'm fighting for the part
Practicing, rehearsing
I'm told; To take it from the start
Life is like a movie
Someone keeps hitting replay
It makes you begin to wonder
The purpose of facing another day
When life keeps starting over
And every day's the same
Let me off this running wheel
I don't want to play this game
