Whispered secrets to bark
On wings of the meadowlark
Envious trees grant a plea
Shedding uninhibited glee

Colors of amber gold
Enchanted site to behold
Kick up heels in dance
Await solstice by chance

Fairy wings aglow
Glisten in frosty bestow
Autumn bids adieu
Summer’s warming hue

A sprite’s mischievous smile
