Poem -

Awaiting king

Awaiting king

I am not moved when songbirds sing

I do not weep when church bells ring

My heart cries out for just one thing

This is my yearning to be king

I feel no pain when mad bees sting

I do not flinch when rose thorns cling

My soul and mind know just one thing

My destiny is to be king.

Hello Your Majesty...

Welcome to Cosmo!

Quite ambitious indeed!

Anything is possible...

Believe it and you can be it...

If you're not a good king you won't keep your throne...

The Queen will knock you out and lock you away in a chamber...

:)

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

clever poem, Thomas Hatchet, cool confidence on display, well constructed and oozes creativity, I like its simplicity, and it certainly bends toward affirming the veracity of your ambition, love the tone, this is a very good poem, enjoyed... cheers poet
