Awash

Awash 
The very word impresses me in its imagery
In the implied excess and lack of restraint
Stunning!
I hunger to have my life swimming to the brim of constraint in joy, hope, and love.
It appears the use of a word aimed at describing
abundant, huge, grand events of emotions  and things.
Has been scaled back and made into naught by this new lack of generation
Lack of patience, lack of guidance, lack of self control , and love.
What is to become of a people that cannot relate to being awash in sentiment.  
Not spending time at the laundromat
A generation that seeks
feedback from faceless facades on social media.
That lives through short bites of edited videos..
Measuring their life screen against an artificial AI cotrolled reality.

I challenge you Gen x or later to actually start a garden, grow a business, step out into risk and effort!
