An Awful End

Our hearts sink 
As the air crushes down
Killing all of us below
We know it's the end
For the sky has fallen
It is below our knees
We are wading in the clouds 
As the moon wanes in the sky
An everlasting life
Will end with a bang
And fireworks that give no joy
Our mandible earth
Flipping and folding
Into a new world
A world of all dark
A world that does not exist
There is no sun
There is no earth
For we are shattered
Shattered into pieces 
Pieces floating throughout the galaxy 
It's like we
We're never here
All humanity is gone
We never accomplished peace
We never forgave and forgot
We never accepted our differences
And now on the day the earth ends
All we have are wastrels
And selfish humans
And it has made all of the difference
