B' Day Wish poem for Tony and Cherie
This is the day
Everyone smiles and says
Happy Birthday that time is here
What happened to last year?
Do I look the same?
My ass is dragging
Am I supposed to feel this way?
If I only had a new body
My mind is sometimes clear
Have lots of advice to give
Those young pups are in need
But they just think I'm old so
They just ignore my wisdom indeed
What the hell my dog is waiting on me
You'd better smile and say Happy Birthday
You'd better not forget
My mind will get sharper then
So it's another day come and gone
It goes so fast - it's over again
The question is do I still love myself?
I put the mirror away last year
So waist up is OK still
Next year I may require a small makeup mirror instead
But I have friends to relate
Misery loves company, so I say
Thank God for old friends
They will love you till the end
So enjoy your B'day!

LOL!! LOL!!.... that's too funny... and WAY too real!!.... It does go SO fast....... and the older you get... the faster time seems to go..... and just so time can come back and say HA! HA!.... your Birthday is here again!!.......YES!!...I am overstating it all...... and YES it's true.... old friends help make it so much easier....ย but theย truth is...... Yes Tony it is so true the aches and pain of an older body but like you I am comfortable with myself.... I like being older...wow I need to update my profile picture..
