And she looks so beautiful
Her face just has that magic glow
Can never forget how excited she was
The first time that she got to know

The surprise look she had on her face
As she comes in to the room
A moment that bring us tears of joy
That changes our lives that afternoon

And just like the morning sun
from that moment she started to glow
And every day she becomes more beautiful
As the life inside her begins to grow

And she would just laugh as she
Wakes me up all hours of the night
Sending me out to the stores
When she gets one of her many appetites?

And everyday can see the changes in her
As the days turns into weeks
And as she eats a piece of slice lemon 
She smiles with her cute chubby cheeks

She says being pregnant is a license
For her to eat what ever she crave
And telling me to try it and when I say no
Laughing at me saying come on be brave

And knowing that I’m apart of her life
Is a blessing god has bestowed on my life
And as we pulls into the parking lot
The day we waited for has finally arrive

And as I look at her laying on the bed
The excitement on her face shows so clear
And I kiss her head and whisper in her ear
Everything will be OK I’m here

No words can express the heroism
Beauty and majesty of her courage
And thought this role is new to her
She’s ready to take the motherhood stage

And teach our child values and wisdom 
And that she posses in her
That respect, understanding, and honestly
Will light their future like shining star
