Poem -

Baby hands

Ten Tiny Toes leaving their first imprints on the sand...
Lead way to salty water while holding mommy's hand…
Eyes wide with wonder a blue reflection of the sea…
I'm filled with the same amazement about how someone so precious could come from me…
Delighted waves of roaring laughter roll in and crash to shore…
There's never been a mother who could love a daughter more…
Playing in the sand we build my princess her very own deserving castle…
Dimpled cheeks of smiling joy mark memories worth the hassle..
Oohs and aahs ring over the discovery of shells…
Followed all to quickly by approaching nights tiding bell…
Too young to remember adding another first time to your forgotten list…
Will some day lead to telling tales of first time moments where your baby hands still exist...

Rae Rae!

This is such a beautiful and loving write.  You imagery is so tender and loving as you describe your special times together.  Writing "memory" has a very intense impact on the reader.  You have delicately and lovingly invited the reader to look through the window with you.

My only child is a daughter and she was especially delightful in her infancy. I have thousands of pictures (literally) of her when she was little.  I still call her
"BooBerry"!
