Back To School

Back To School

Don't you ever learn - enough to make my ears burn,
I went back - there were lessons and now it's my turn;
you treat people as you would expect them to treat you,
take stock, go thro' this life, don't mess up, whatever you do.

Why did I do the things that happened, was it just me?
Broken hearts, shattered lives, it really was a mystery,
you think - I'm not a bad guy but lacked responsibility,
I suppose be thankful, could have been worse, that's me.

A free prisoner, could have been locked up, no room now,
for indiscretions, poor decisions, but too late anyhow;
Ironic, I married a teacher but you don't listen to her,
so many times and then it's just gone when they occur.

I'm left eating sweets in a corner like little Jack Horner,
write on the white board boy - be contrite and never forget her.

Hello Terry...

The pressure of being perfect?

If we don't make our own mistakes are we just supposed to take everyone's word?

What if they weren't completely right?

Is it all just for the Gold?

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hi Sparrow,
How are you?
How are things over there?
Aren't you sick of all the election stuff?
Keep well.
Thanks so much,
Love,
Terry.

Hello Terry...

How are you doing?

I'm doing ok...

Thank you for asking...

I would like to say yes...

However, there's still so many people being lied to and uninformed...

Time is running out on the amount of days we have to Vote...

If the Media wasn't paid to lie...

It sure would make it so much easier and so much better...

After they sell their Soul to the Devil that's the only information we get...

At least when people Vote to mess up...

It makes that so much easier...

Being Me

"I'm left eating sweets in a corner like little Jack Horner,

write on the white board boy - be contrite and never forget her."

Sometimes it's all we can do. To sit, in the corner, alone, reflecting on all that's gone. Sitting there cloaked in heartbreak, clinging to memories. This is what this poem makes me think of. Hope all is okay with you x
