Poem -

Balance

I write for my sanity,

as if there was anything left to save.

My life taken from me by this world,

as if they had given me a life to begin with.

You asked me for my honesty and beliefs,

but you never expected my reality.

My pain and suffering caused by your lovely world,

you stole the sun and I was left in the night.

I can't even blame you,

all you have done is make yourself happy.

Everything is in balance isn't it,

happiness for some and sadness for the rest.

Why did I ever expect anything else?

That's so sad. Everyone should be HAPPY about something. Even if it's in the small stuff. Come fly with me if you want to.
