Bared Bones of Christianity

As far as naked eyes can see, a world of hate; true tyranny
A pox on all humanity, reviled in its insanity.
Espousing negativity—devoid of creativity;
laid bare, for all the world to see—bared bones of Christianity.
Pale alabaster, brimming white, a pallid pox, a virgin’s plight.
Kowtow to cretins callous might, get on your knees, why try to fight?
It's all within our narrow sight, a vile vex, a bilious blight.
A putrid place where day is night, hatred’s embraced, where wrong is right.
United, we’ve been asked to stand, embrace feigned hope, with neighbors, band.
False promises fall faint, bland— empty echoes waft across our Land.
No real reproach, no reprimand, the madness reigns, as mortal man,
deftly decays, tears turn to sand, but no one seems to give a damn.
A land once touted, “Brave and Free”, espousing boastful bigotry.
Loud voices shouting, "Anarchy!"— pure Hell from sea to shining sea.
No soulful songs in symmetry, no joyfulness, no harmony.
A fetid stench, our pedigree—bared bones of Christianity.

Dear Poet Brother DEAN!!...I read this through 4 times.....and I had to do it because this could actually be interpreted several different ways that I can see .....this country was founded on profound phrases like " In God We Trust " and all the like references in our Constitution and Declaration of Independence that helped make our once united basic belief system and our united voice a VERY powerful and beautiful foundation..... but ~
~ " A land once touted " Brave and Free" espousing boastful bigotry.."
Where's the voice that we ALL used to share in!??!.... Where's the pride in our forefathers belief in Christianity that we all used to share in.... whether Catholic, protestant, Methodist etc..... we still BELIEVED!!.... now we are being torn apart by so many different and hateful belief systems that are seemingly one thing on their face and another beneath it.......it is a sad state of affairs..... and ~ "no one seems to give a damn".... to me... this is a VERY profound write and near~testament to loss of " joyfulness and harmony"..... hope I interpreted this well..... regardless......VERY thought provoking dear poet brother.... thank you for sharing this!!.....PINNED!!......well done!!......LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ???????❤
