Poem -
Base-hit
Green-light from helloÂ
Fast around first-baseÂ
Started to round second-base
Yellow-light now exposedÂ
Quick to third-base I sprintedÂ
Red-light came on just beforeÂ
HOMEÂ
As she pointed her fingerÂ
towards the front doorÂ
and gave me a quick peckÂ
on my disappointed faceÂ
but hey you can't blame a guy for trying to get a homerunÂ
