Corporate America

Corporate America

Corporate America,

I can get in, where I need to…

I prefer to not have to,
because of what it expects of you.

I love the art of negotiating, I enjoy closing the deal, someone telling me “no” really turns me on, as I always wear them out.

Corporate America,

I can fit in, where I need to…

I prefer to not have to,
because of what I’m capable of.

I hate the effect of me negotiating,
I feel bad after the fact, someone agreeing with me on what I want them to do!

Corporate America,

I use you, like you use me…

I prefer to not work at all,
because I rather be relaxing.

I love the fact I figured you out, I don’t live to work now, but I rather work to live, I’m not on your clock, because you’re on mine!
