Tuesday morning, raining is falling
Walking down the avenue
Stepped into a puddle
And water got inside my shoe

Tuesdays night is colder
I lay in bed awake
Wondering if you will forgive me
For my stupid mistake

Love is very funny
Love makes us do stupid things
And after a couple dates
I bought her diamond rings

And when she starts to cry
I thought that she was mad
So, I walk out in the rain
Feeling very sad

Maybe I am a fool
For what transpired today
But the first time I saw her smile
She stole my heart away

But now I think she hates me
For falling in love with her
For asking her to share my life
And stand in front of the altar

So, I open the envelope

Wednesday morning arrives
The Sun shines in the sky
Outside the bay windows
Happy people passing by

Orange juice in a glass
The morning news paper
Laying on the grass

The doorbell started ringing
I'm still feeling depressed
There she stands on the front steps
Hugs me and she said yes
