Beautiful Soul

The human soul is but a rock in the waves
     Rough around the edges, tossed about some
Over time learning the ebbs and flows of the world
     Rising and falling with the changing of the tide
It may hurt at times
     Still the rock does not break
The rock changes, evolves
     Becoming more polished
          More beautiful with the pressures of time
