Poem -
Beauty
Beauty and beautiful are just wordsÂ
Yet we seem to live in a world where beautiful can just be fitting a stereotype
And beauty can be fitting in with no identityÂ
We need to change as young girls and boys are trying to fit in without having there own perceptions  of what beauty actually is        We need to change so no young person ever feel the need to stave themselves just to feel beautifulÂ
We need to change the way we see beauty as everyone is beautiful in there own way Â

well said, Lizzy Coulthard....there are many reasons why anyone will see something 'beautiful' or 'ugly' when looking in a mirror, and I reckon most of these reasons have little to do with the physical....a 'dark' heart with a 'beautiful' face is like a glass eye that shines but sees nothing....so yes, this time we can embrace the old ragged cliche' and say, truly 'beauty' starts within the skin....enjoyed your write, poet, it has substanceÂ
