Gaining me back

I may sill have days where by brain and body dissociate form each other but that’s okay as I’m learning that healing Is never linier 
I’m finally gaining me back 
I am stronger now no longer chained by your hand 

I may still have times where I wonder what would have been but then I realised life has a mysterious way 
I’m finally getting Me back 
I am stronger now no longer held back by your grab 

I may still have episodes of self doubt due to what was taken away from me that night but then I remember  you didn’t break me. You just changed my path.
I’m finally getting me back 
I’m stronger now no longer traumatised by a simple set of words

I’m finally getting me back. I’m finally getting a learning to be the real and true liz
