To let go

To let go 
To let go I will have to re learn,
Relearn how to trust without feeling like it was going to be shattered into a million sharp fragments of glass, fragments which are spread so far I stand on them unexpectedly 
To let go I need to be reprogrammed 
Reprogrammed to erase the memories that cut deep, yet can’t let go of for fear of losing the memories of being care free and innocent 
To let go I will have to be re wired 
Re wired to see that I am worth the effort dispite what the devil on my shoulder is telling me 
To let go of need be ready 
Ready to accept I’m not at fault yet can’t be ready for fear of the devil on my shoulder making me feel more guilty as they pump more self doubt and hatred further into me 
To let go is hard but one day I will 
I will because I’m not defined
