Poem -

BEFORE THE LORD

BEFORE THE LORD

I STAND HERE BEFORE
THE LORD,HOLDING A
SWORD IT IS MIDNIGHT
THE MOON IS SHINING
THROUGH THE GLASS
OF THE WINDOW OF
THE LORD AND MIDNIGHT
MASS IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
AND CHOIRS SING AS THE BELLS
RING AS I STAND BEFORE THE
LORD AND I LOOKED TOWARD
THE  PRISEST THAT  POURED THE BLOOD
OF THE LORD AND ATE THE BODY
OF THE LORD

I STAND HERE BEORE  THE LORD
WE SAID ARE PRAYER AND HAVE
NO CARES WITH NO TEARS BEFORE
ARE PEERS AND NO FEARS IN LIFE
AND AS MIDNIGHT MASS ENDS
THE MOON SHINES BRIGHT
THROUGH THE GLASS OF
THE WINDOW OF THE LORD

Greg, a well written and beautifully imagined poem and a church to be proud of, that comes to glorious colourful life when reading.
And moonlight through stained glass windows sounds magnificent.
Thanks for writing and sharing and five stars and pinned as well.
I'm Catholic and I wish you well and Greg, may God Bless and Keep you sir.
