Poem -

Being mum and dad

Being mum and dad

Mummy's in the sky now

The brightest star up there

You and I must soldier on

Life Sometimes isn't fair

Remember what she told you

Never hide away from fears

She will always be around you

To catch your falling tears

It's ok to cry son

I cry myself to sleep

It's not a sign of weakness

Even big boys weep

I wish that you could talk to me

Tell me how you feel

One day you will stop hurting

In time your heart will heal

Sometimes the world is cruel son

It does things to make you mad

But You and i will get through

I'll be your mum and dad
