Another day is done
Another night passes by 
Live life and smile 
And laugh til’ you cry 
Another page has been turned 
Another line in your song
It’s never too late 
To right all the wrongs
Another notch on the belt
Another heartache been felt
Hold your cards to your chest 
And play what you’re dealt 
Another lesson been learned 
Another superficial cut

Appreciate what you’ve got 
Another poem been scored
