When you spend so much time
Giving up! 
When all your effort and dreams
Aren't enough! 
When the world seems empty
Of anything new
When your life seems devoid 
Of another breakthrough 
Don't give up on yourself 
Take it from someone who knows
One day it will be clear 
One day you will grow
Into another form another life
One that makes sense
When the canvas becomes reality 
And will not quench 
Your drive and your spirit
Your internal fire 
Your passion and fortitude 
To obtain your desire
Life is indeed a journey 
Ever changing paths 
You choose which one to walk
And build an eternity to last 
It's taken many years
Many abuses and wounds
To get to a point where I'm OK
I've learnt to omit the interludes 
Where I feel I'm worthless
Unworthy of life 
I can now look forward 
To the daily strife 
Of being human
Of being a dreamer 
I can now say, that in myself
I am a strong believer
