Mind over manners

Seek and you shall find. 

In amongst the rose gardens,

Where the weary rest awhile,

And cast their nets,

Upon the tide of dreams.

Do not stay blind.

To the travellers around you,

Writing their journels,

With peacock feathers,

That they lost whilst they preened.

Be brave and stay kind.

Though your journey may be fraught,

With mountains and monsters,

Who will block your way,

Take a breath and break through.

Sharpen your mind.

You are not a perfect being,

Expectations mean nothing,

Unless you fit into the box,

That is labelled "you"

Be worthy of your design.

You are everything you need to be,

To live the way you need to live,

Others opinions mean nothing

Though they would not have you think so!

Your strengths, always refine.

Make your statement as you see fit,

The truly deserving will applaud you, 

others may just walk away, 

But you must let them go.
