Poem -

Believe

When I finally draw my final breath
The darkness will run away
And though I'll close my eyes in death
The light will guide my way

My pain and tears will be erased
Like shadows of my past
For all the heartaches I've ever faced
Were never meant to last

Walls of Jasper with streets of Gold
My eternal retirement plan
I'll reap the reward that God foretold
Before my life began

Death is nothing for me to fear
Nor the power of the grave
The sting of death will disappear
For I'm no longer his slave

A promise was made to all mankind
For a price we couldn't perceive
Heaven's a place that's easy to find
But first we have to believe
