Poem -

Bell

Uncover the secret
Told by Miss Bell
As she shares the story
No mortal can tell
About none other
Than wretched old Kate
Who cackled with laughter
As she sealed John's fate.
With her hair down
In her faded black gown
Over many a toxin and tonic
She gossips through town.
"Poison! Its poison!
The drink did the trick!
(From every last drop
True Through the final drip!)
Call the nurse and send her in quick!"
A terrible fate
Thanks to old Kate
With John now pronounced Late
As much as I hate!
With empty eyes
Her lips are now sealed
The terrible truth she has revealed.
This the story no mortal can tell
Twixt the screaming
And Echos of Bells!

Lol this is actually a poem I wrote about Betsy Bell. She was a girl in the 1800s who was tortured daily by a poltergeist which had actually poisoned Betsy's father, John. She's known as the Bell Witch
