Belly of the Beast

Belly of the Beast

Deep inside the belly of this beast
Demons dwell and monsters feast
Wearing human faces, drag me off to unknown places

Deep inside the belly of this beast
I’m the person that I like least
Wearing my best-kept mask, I’m fine I say every time you ask

Deep inside the belly of this beast
The memories they never ever cease
Take me away, end this pain, will I ever feel alive again

Deep inside the belly of this beast
I wake up every day and pray for some release
So let me sleep for an eternity, I’m so tired of being me
