Beside You

Beside You

The sky smiles down beside you

After the storm no more thunder it takes cover

Humble our stomach's rumble, love we discover

No earthquake could shake it

No hurricane could whip it

No tornado could wreck it

Beside you I find laughter in the wind

As the leaves blow and fall, they spin

By my side on this parkbench we hug, we grin

The sky smiles down as we watch pigeons in the distance

Beside you all day, my best friend

Beside you all the way

As the sky smiles down
