BEWITCHED

BEWITCHED

Oh moon
My moon
Such beauty to me
Night time enchantress
Bewitching to see
I search for you most nights
Eyes heaven bound

And on clear dark nights
Your magic is found
For when I'm rewarded
And you come out to play
Night time is my time
Iv no need of day
Out deep in the darkness
The hush and the quiet
The night air is charged
With your wanton desire
To glow over faeries
And cast light for the owls
The atmosphere thickens
With calls, squeaks and yowls
As trees rise to greet you
Steeped in white ghostly glow
And the wolverines howl

For the wolverines know
In your presence

So ethereal
With normalcy shed
That spirits and sprites play
When most folk are in bed
The wizards cast dark spells
As elves perch upon leaves
And goblins play games
In the wicked night breeze
Cats bask in your moonshine
Bats soar from the eve's

While out in the oceans
Mermaids rise in the seas
The stars pay you homage
As witches ride high
Quick lightening streaks
In the darkest night sky
With the presence of
Other
So close all around
I sit and I worship

Enthralled on the ground
For you fill me with something
I cannot name
And at midnights soft whisper
Divine queen
You do reign

Oh moon.
