Beyond Repair

Today the Doctor will repair my heart, from it’s physical injury;
He will put the second stent in, that will insure longevity!
But he cannot fix the damage, that forever lives inside;
From losing my two Soulmates, and the tears that my heart cries!

For they’ve now sailed off to Paradise, my Angels so very pure;
And no surgery could circumvent, the pain that I endure!
I miss them so very dearly, each day, cry a million tears;
Looking back on our Nirvana, while my Angels still were here!

The Doctor will say, “I’m healed, and will live a lengthened life”;
But he will never see the suffering, the enormity of my strife!
For all his advanced equipment, will say, “that I’m just fine”;
But they’ll miss the heavy heartache, for two Soulmates who once were mine!

                            A clean bill of health
                   My Surgeon will now believe
                            But beyond repair
