Beyond These City Lights
Down this path just before dusk meets the dawn
The city is crackling with life vivid, aliveย ย forย those who seek and surviveย
Around every street corner the lights put on a majestic displayย
For the curious on lookers as they drive on their merry wayย
Gazing out into the darkness but suspended by these big city luminous neon nightsย
Love is here for those who carry such a lonely broken,empathic heartย
Much to think on wandering through such a magnificent playground for the sins of the fleshย
Just another night walking through the realm of these big city nightsย
Where time stands still for all searching to see ,touch , and feel for something so elusive but very real.

Love urban culture and city living so really enjoyed this which elevates the diversity and intrigue of the concrete jungle to a new level. There is so much to see and immerse yourself in when exploring the major metropolis. Great piece.

The city lights illuminate several paths one can choose. ย A wrong turn can take them to dark sinister corners, yet the right one can lead them down the yellow brick road. ย Which route is desired?
