He was not one for the straight and narrow 
The seedy and murky world of Billy Sparrow 
A crime committed he'd squeal to the police 
Murders and Billy's rate would generally increase 

He's good at his job but the risks are huge
Certainly not easy being the police stooge
Billy knew that one false move he'd be dead
Criminals don't take prisoners it has to be said 

The bigwigs soon heard of Billy's reputation 
Needed help with a murder at Waterloo station 
They turned to Billy who gave them a name 
His days now numbered due to Billy's little game

Beware of squealing Billy or you'll do time 
He would do anything for an honest quid
