Poem -

Binge

Just one more sip and my appetite will be quenched.

The rush I thirst for .

A compulsion is tapping me on the shoulder.

I'm longing for one more sip from the bottle.

Just one more sip.

I want to burn to find every inch of my throat.

I want it to hurt.

My body feels uninhibited .

My reckless thoughts don't want to say in my prefrontal cortex.

I'm always jumpy and excited with one more sip.

This new me wants to come out and play.

My brain says no, but my body says yes.
