Biochemistry warfare (we would have been lucky to get out of life alive)

Standing stoic, on the precipice.
Black clawed hand from life's abyss.
Pulls to submerge, all wane and bitter. Unregulated neurotransmitter. Serotonin, dopamine, bypass heart store epinephrine.
Amino acid deficiencies, brings adrenal fallacies. This secret conflict cause casualties
its hard to fight what no one sees.
Internal war wound, minds battle ground. This creeping death, that makes no sound. Through war paint mask, comes practised smile, misdirected murder mile. From minds eye trench, see no mans land. Through pills comfort haze, seek caring hand. To lead to end of personal war
before the light becomes no more.
One more shrug that says we tried.
We would have been lucky to make it out of life alive.
