Biscuit

“Hello Daddy”,
“Hello Too, What is it I can do for you”,
“You know those biscuits over there?”
She’s had three already the greedy mare,
“Yes I do, it’s the last one, see”
“I’m going to have it with my cup of tea” 
She looks at me with huge surprise,
And opens up her big blue eyes,
“That’s such a shame, I’m so hungry”,
I think what about the other three!!
And then I see her with a cutesy smile,
I hold out for a little while,
But then I cave, and once again,
Say “I suppose you’d better have it then”,
She eats it up, not a crumb did she miss,
Then gives me a hug and a big girlie kiss,
And I think to myself with a cheesy grin,
That was worthwhile, I’m glad I gave in.
