Bitter and Cold

Bitter and Cold

Tonight was a cold, bitter drive.
Even though it wasn't snowing, I felt oddly empty.
The highway was crowded and none of my music could fit my mood.
I wish I could disintegrate into thin air.
And as the sun faded from my view o'er my window shield and behind a grey cloud, I was trapped in the darkness of this evening.
Tonight was a cold, bitter drive.
And I, in myself, was bitter and cold too.
