Bitter Truth
My life’s demise
was in the disguiseÂ
of a love potionÂ
but really a notionÂ
in ALCOHOLÂ
to allow me toÂ
fuck things upÂ
My life’s entiretyÂ
relies solely on
my ability to faceÂ
my problems withÂ
my SOBRIETYÂ
no longer a victim
to numbing the painÂ

I’ve been frosting mugs in the freezer and using seltzer as a vice to make me feel like I’m having a drink lol , definitely not the same thing but I’m on day 7 and have overcame a couple urges . It’s tough when you travel for work and stay at resorts or hotels that have bars in them as all the guys i work with always try to buy me a round lol ,so far so good though . I’m glad this resonated as it’s nice to know your not the only one .~RobÂ
