Poem -

Black Widow

you waken me

and I wear the morning

like a soft stranger

I travel your distance

we dance into and

out of arms

you weave threads into my

spoken dreams

that hint of reality

the song finally played

as on stairways

I sank into you

wondering if you wanted

to survive

this current

you placed a flower

beside death's fragile wings

and a turn away

became muffled partings

but you said you'd

"see me soon"
