Blackbird

I am a blackbird with a broken wing
And a cut throat
I can no longer sing.

I am a blackbird with darkness in it's heart
I carry a deep and dark wound.

The essence of my Soul is dimmed.

Nice consonance of "b", "w", and "s" here, Ru T. The combination of onomatopoeia your poem creates almost sounds like a bird with a broken wing, fluttering and floundering around on the ground, still trying to fly.
Kinda like life, huh?
