Bleeding out

Bleeding out

The pain of a life hard fought
A stain on a dress she bought
A mind that reaches out like a sunflower
With wilted pedals from all the sour
A fighter and a lover
With a heart beat of thunderΒ
And eyes full of wonder
Torn asunder
From weathering a storm beyond forty days and nights
Ever trying to reigniteΒ
Her inner light
And keep her head right
She finds it difficult
To keep the juiceΒ
Through the reigning abuse
I watch from a far
It's like keeping a star
In a taped up glass jar
She's reaching for hope
I want to throw her a rope
But I am forced to watch through a window pane
She's bleeding out and what once was a stain
Is now a puddle on the floorΒ
I don't think she can take it anymore
I want to tell her to fight
I want her to keep her light
Don't get lost in the darkness love
Push and shoveΒ
With all you've got
Weather you think you can or not
She doesn't here me screamin
That this girl I believe in
I'm trying to break in
While she's slowly breakin
Crimson stain down both cheeksΒ
All I can do is watch her drown
I can hear her rippingΒ
Even though it makes no sound
I can taste her bleeding
Tears stain the ground
I hope she's not so lost
She can't be found
