Blindness wrapped

Drowning dragons

Broken jagged lies
flee the criss cross scraping nail
over red baked flesh
scarred in cemented feature
vomiting echos retch
in gathering foaming tides

scarlet buttons
line the cocaine studded
glass crypts
 Dry chalk crusted bones
sowing dreary grey burning vision
loves moments
creak with weighted printed
symbolic shrines
corrected and feasted
spilling amber sky into the screaming silence

death therapy in exposing
shadow
Coded in saint and crucified
display

this scabbed flushed fleshy ocean
yields as time carves
Iron in its march
time folds
scented earthly escorted
bitten with frosted crystals
depression lingers
drawn in artistic dirty sheets

Listen
listen
and weep

The fish of the sea

Hi Terri, what can I say? Simply such a deep write. Fantastic wordplay throught with a hint of frustration and pointlessness. I love when poems create such a profound emotion in the reader.  A Lovely and spectacular write. Enjoyed!!
