Bliss

I felt your gaze from across the room and i knew it was you because my body doesn’t react that way for just anybody. 

When i look up and we finally lock eyes, its almost as if my heart is about to beat out of my chest, because just looking into your eyes does that to me. 

Walking over to you, i hear nothing except the sound of my rapidly beating heart and i see nothing but that effortless smile you flash me. And i cant help but to think how lucky i am.... how privileged i am to get to be in your presence. 

Being in your presence reminds me of being in my bed cozied up in the blankets on a rainy afternoon. Being in your arms makes me feel like i have an invincible shield around me. Feeling your lips on mine feels like the greatest most powerful electric shock has just run through my body. 

But just being with you is just so purely blissful, like nothing in this world matters except for the seconds that i share with you.
