Blue

Blue

Your eyes of
tar
taught me
the ancient song of
darkness

I can't remember the keys.

Your heart
blooming at
the brightness of my

burning skin.

My matchstick fingers keep
drawing you
- my black nails their blunt leads -

I'll sharpen them my love.

But the page is blank
as my tears wiped my
charcoal curlicue

inescapable

like autumnal winds.

So in this
burning bundle of myself I am
trying I
am trying

to

remember.

wow, you are some kind of deep, Beattrice Noir, beautiful articulation, love the melancholy flavored romantic tone and ethereal imagery, delicious poetry, enjoyed this pull quote is perfection, just saying....great poem
