Bring it on!!!! ( lighthearted, non intellectual ,respite!)
When I hit 80 I’ll wear pink……
And I wont care what others think,
‘cause I’ll be old enough to know
that I’m the boss of me!
I’ll dance without shoes- in the nude,
and no one dares tell me that’s rude.
I’ll swear and cuss and drink neat gin,
and when I’ve done I’ll start again.
I’ll braid my hair, what’s left of it
and take up smoking finest ‘shit’.
A tattoo on my cheek I’ll ink
and just not care what others think!
I’ll get bejazzles done ‘down there’,
And wear short skirts so people stare.
Go clubbing till the morning light,
eat, drink and smoke
Get really tight!
I won’t control the things I say
I might even decide I’m gay..
I’ll swipe on tinder left and right,
and partay every single night
So bring it on-I want to age
and move up to this crazy stage.
Life’s boring when you must behave,
Cause being young makes me a slave!

Leah that was exactly what I wanted to do...some days you just need to have a few minutes smiling- to recharge and face the sometimes harsh realities of the world in which we live-I so agree with you!!!- life is short so be happy and live it to the full- go party girl and get home late and exhausted!!!! Hi Christopher, sometimes when writing we have concentrate so hard on subject matter that can be quite dark or serious that we lose sight of the lighthearted side of life...I love laughing and it's difficult for me not to find something humorous to relate to, so I am really pleased if this brought a smile to your face- job done!!!
