Bring your sunshine

The journeys that I have found myself 
The different paths the mistaken turns, 
Yes the lessons that should be learnt 
Tears, regret haunt, always show the burns, 
The leaps I made when no one saw
The days alone crying alone, in my room, 
The times I missed her, then lost another 
As clouds of darkness, overhead, beckons the doom. 
There were a few days I needed to end it all 
There were years, tired of being alone, 
I learned the lessons but never acted on them
So faced my dark days, faced it on my own, 
So dear reader, please learn from my mistakes 
Take a look at yourself within, 
As long as you smile on the inside, you'll shine 
Believe you can & in yourself, as life's worth living.
